The Northern New England Co Mentoring Network is supported with funding by the National Science Foundation Elementary, Secondary, and Informal Education (ESIE) Program Award # ESI-0101928 awarded to the Maine Mathematics and Science Alliance, PO Box 5359, Augusta, Maine 04332.

NNECN mentors and mentees may use  the NNECN threaded discussion boards to interact with other NNECN mentors and new teachers, participate in follow-up learnings after professional development events, or engage in facilitated book discussions. Any NNECN mentor or mentee may register and participate in the discussions.

Hint for Using Webboard: You can have all messages posted go to your email by clicking on "more" at the top buttons of the Webboard after you log in, and choosing "My Mailing Lists." Click on each of the threads you want sent to your email and then click "Save." When a message is posted, it will go to your email. At the bottom of the email message are options to reply to the message or post a new message so it will appear on the webboard. If you use a standard reply, it will go to the sender only and not appear on the webboard. When new discussion threads are added, don't forget to go back in and choose the mailing list option for each of them. This option makes it much easier to keep up with online discussions.
